Thank You!

December 19th, 2017
Thanks to you and others like you, on Colorado Gives Day we received more than $12,000 to support the restoration of riverside lands!
Donations and memberships from individuals like you play a critical role in ensuring the health of our organization and the health of our rivers; the stronger we are, the better we are able to support our river restoration partners and effectively restore rivers from the impacts of invasive plants.
Funds are directly supporting Tamarisk Coalition’s programs, such as the:
•    Restore our Rivers initiative which, after Colorado Gives Day, has raised $1.35 million to support the long-term viability of nine river restoration partnerships in the West
•    Annual conference, training events, and workshops that help practitioners effectively restore riverside lands for the long-term
•    Education of over 1,750 youth and community members each year that inspire river stewardship through hands-on classroom education and field trips
•    Collaborative efforts in western Colorado to manage invasive plants and restore native vegetation along the Gunnison and Colorado Rivers in Mesa and Delta Counties
•    Coordination with 40 partners in 11 states and Mexico to track the expansion of the tamarisk beetle.
If you haven't made an end of year gift to support healthy rivers in the West, make your contribution today!

Tamarisk Coalition's

mission is to advance the restoration of riparian lands through collaboration, education, and technical assistance.
