Accomplishing Meaningful Work, Together

For upcoming volunteer events, visit our events page, sign up for our e-newsletter, and like us on Facebook.

Volunteerism is a staple of restoration projects. Always operating on a tight budget, the efficient work of volunteers is often the only way a restoration site transforms from a tamarisk thicket to a diverse riparian forest of native shrubs, trees, forbs, and grasses. Tamarisk Coalition also views volunteer events as invaluable educational opportunities to answer questions and share knowledge with curious participants.

Calling all photographers!
Do you enjoy taking photos of rivers or of people recreating on/along rivers?   Inspire others to care about the rivers we all enjoy by joining our volunteer photography crew.  Email your river-related photos to Cara at Ckukuraitis@tamariskcoalition.org.
