Our commitment to supporting the restoration of riparian areas includes providing educational opportunities to the next generation of stewards.
We offer, on an as-needed basis and within a reasonable distance from our office in Grand Junction, CO, both classroom instruction and experiential learning in the field.
Students learn about riparian areas, invasive plants, the tamarisk beetle, the value of healthy habitat, and the important role that they themselves have in the future of healthy rivers.
Interested in having a Tamarisk Coalition educator visit your class and/or get them outside to learn about invasive plants and healthy rivers? Email TC's Outreach Coordinator, Cara Kukuraitis, at Ckukuraitis@tamariskcoalition.org.
